At Edgroom, we celebrate educators who transform their passion into impactful teaching. Today, we honor Gangadhar, a chemistry teacher whose dedication to his students shines brighter than any textbook.
From Casual to Committed:
Gangadhar holds an M.Sc. Tech from Ideal College of PG Sciences, Kakinada. His career began in corporate colleges of Visakhapatnam, where he admits to being a "casual teacher," prioritizing salary over personal connection with students.
A Defining Challenge:
A turning point came when Gangadhar joined Aakash Institute Bhubaneswar. Facing competition from Hindi-speaking colleagues, he could have felt discouraged. But Gangadhar chose to learn. He embraced Hindi and Odia, allowing him to connect better with students. This dedication propelled him to become the top faculty at Bhubaneswar Aakash.
A Decade of Success:
Over ten years, Gangadhar nurtured countless students. More than 300 of his former students are now pursuing MBBS in Odisha – a testament to his effectiveness. The positive response from students and parents fueled his passion.
Lifelong Learning:
Gangadhar's philosophy is inspiring. He views himself as a perpetual learner, constantly gleaning new insights from discussions with his students. This two-way learning environment fosters a dynamic and engaging classroom experience.
Beyond Academics:
Gangadhar's story resonates because it's personal. Coming from a below-middle-class family, he couldn't pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Now, he empowers others to achieve theirs.
Gangadhar's journey is a powerful reminder that the best teachers are lifelong learners, driven by a deep desire to connect and empower their students. We celebrate his dedication and the countless futures he has helped shape!
